Wasn’t Nothing Strange About Your Daddy

“Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The shadow knows.” – 1930

The shadow of what may or may not have been evil in Michael Jackson’s world has left this world forever. And we will likely never know for sure whether that evil was real or a fabrication of some opportunists and the media frenzy that followed.

Maybe I’m being naïve and maybe I’m just protecting myself from what I don’t want to believe to be true by wearing side blinders.

But as I remove these obstacles that may impair my vision I can see clearly enough to say that I have slept with more women that I didn’t have sex with – than there are women I have had sex with.

That is not to say that I didn’t want to have sex with some of these women that I slept with – but for individual reasons in each case – they were simply not sexual moments.

So it is not inconceivable for me at least, to believe that, given the history and background of Michael Jackson’s upbringing – he very well might have slept with young boys without having committed any unthinkable crimes against them.

NY congressman Peter King accused Michael Jackson of being a pervert saying that Jackson had “admitted to sleeping with young boys, travelling with young boys. . . . That’s the definition of pedophilia.”

Mr. King’s obvious illiteracy should be an embarrassment to any one who holds the position of congressman.

Wikipedia will tell you that there are in fact “a range of definitions (of pedophilia) as found in psychiatry, psychology, law enforcement and the vernacular.”

Check them out King – every one of those definitions describes pedophilia as consisting of sexual contact, sexual urges or sexual fantasies of an adult with a child and NOT ONE of them says anything about “sleeping with young boys” or “travelling with young boys.”

According to King’s mindset I suppose Santa Claus must be one of the world’s biggest perverts ever. Maybe Santa hasn’t slept with many children but he’s watching them every moment of every day and night.

And god help either of King’s two children or his grandson that might have crawled into his bed seeking comfort after awakening from a nightmare!

As the Reverend Al Sharpton said “I want his three children to know. Wasn’t nothing strange about your Daddy. It was strange what he had to deal with. But he dealt with it.”

And Paris Katherine Jackson probably said it best when she said, “I just want to say ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine…”

Paris was probably right. And who among us could argue with that?

We will never know for sure what happened with Michael & the boys. We will only know what the media tell us.

What we do know is that he made great music, his posters have graced our walls for 40 years, he was a humanitarian and most importantly his family and friends loved him. RIP
